I’ll be honest. When we first added the red carpet to our lineup at Photoenvy360, I figured it’d be a nice little extra. A prop, basically. I was wrong. It turned out to be the thing guests talk about first. Not the booth, not the music. The carpet. Someone steps onto it and you can watch their whole posture change. Shoulders back, chin up, big grin. Grown adults. Every time.

What it is

Red carpet, gold stanchions, a spot at the end to stop and pose. Guests walk it like they’re arriving at a premiere. You can book it alone or add it to any selfie booth or 360 booth package, anywhere in NYC or New Jersey.
That’s the whole thing. It’s simple on purpose.

Why it works

The first hour of most events is kind of dead. People hover, check their phones, wait for someone else to start dancing. A red carpet kills a lot of that. Guests are laughing and posing before they’ve even found their table, and it’s hard to stay stiff when someone’s snapping your photo like you’re famous.

Then the photos go online. Guests post their arrival shots that night, and suddenly your venue, your colors and your theme are all over people’s feeds. You didn’t pay for that. It just happens.

Weddings, mostly at the reception doors. Milestone birthdays, because the guest of honor gets to feel like the main character for once. Prom is a whole different energy, honestly. Teenagers will wear that carpet out, so give it space and expect a line.
Corporate events and launches like it too, since you get arrival photos that look polished but not stiff. And for smaller things like retirement parties, baby showers and graduations, it takes a regular get-together and makes it feel like an occasion.

Mistakes I’ve seen

Don’t hide it. If the carpet sits in a corner guests have to walk toward on purpose, most won’t. Put it where people already go.
Check your lighting. A dark hallway makes every photo look flat, and that’s a shame after you’ve paid for a nice setup.

And think about the crowd. A hundred and fifty people arriving in thirty minutes will clog a single photo spot fast. Tell us your guest count and we’ll plan around it. One more: give the carpet somewhere to lead. A backdrop, a booth, a photographer. Walking down a carpet toward a blank wall is oddly sad.

Red carpet plus booth

If it were my own party, I’d book both without thinking. The carpet takes care of the arrival and the booth keeps everyone busy afterward.

The 360 Booth starts at $550 and includes two hours, a free third hour, custom overlays, instant sharing and slow-motion video. The Selfie Booth starts at $350 and comes with unlimited digital photos, GIFs, boomerangs and overlays. Real examples are in our gallery.

Where we go

New York City and New Jersey. East Rutherford, Fort Lee, Belleville, Kearny and plenty more on the locations page.

People who’ve booked us keep saying the same thing in reviews: on time, quick to reply, easy to deal with. One client reached out last minute with barely any details, and she told us afterward we pulled off something better than what she’d imagined. That one stuck with me.
