Selfie Booth Rental in NYC & NJ What You Get for Your Money

So you’ve got a party coming up and somebody told you to rent a selfie booth. Maybe your cousin, maybe your planner. Now you’re on Google trying to work out what that actually is and whether $350 or $500 or whatever is a normal price.
I get it. Most vendor sites make this weirdly hard to figure out, so let me just explain it the way I would if you asked me at the door

It’s a photo station, minus the photographer

Guests walk up, tap the screen, pose, and the picture lands on their phone almost right away. That’s pretty much it.
Everything shares instantly, and we put your own overlay on every shot, so a name, a date, a theme, whatever you picked.
The part people don’t expect is how much the boomerangs get used. Photos are fine. But a boomerang of six friends jumping at once? That’s the one that gets posted.

Why it’s worth it

You don’t have to run it. I think that’s the real answer.
At a wedding, nobody wants to be the person organizing the photo line. At a company party, nobody wants to babysit equipment. This just sits there and works. Guests figure it out in about four seconds, and when they post, your overlay goes with them. Free advertising for your event, basically.

The price

Our Selfie Booth starts at $350. That covers unlimited digital photos, GIFs, boomerangs, instant sharing, and custom overlays.

After that it depends on your date, how long you need us, and where the venue is. [Add what changes your price: hours, travel distance, add-ons.] If you want a real number, send us the details and we’ll reply with one.
And when you’re comparing vendors, ask what’s included.

Selfie booth vs. 360 booth

People ask me this constantly, so here’s the short version.
If you want everybody to use it, grandparents and shy teenagers included, go selfie booth. It’s quick, simple, and doesn’t need much room.

If you want a show, go 360. Guests stand on a platform and a camera circles them in slow motion. It’s more dramatic, and it works best with a crowd that likes performing. Ours starts at $550 and comes with two hours plus a free third hour.

Some clients just book both, and if the budget stretches, I’d do that too. You can see how each looks at real events in the gallery.

Almost anything with a guest list. Weddings (cocktail hour, mostly), birthdays, proms, baby showers, graduations, retirement parties. Corporate launches and holiday parties too, since branded overlays give your company content that already looks on-brand.

Things people get wrong

Booking late. Weekends in the city fill up fast, spring especially. If you have a date, hold it.

Hiding the booth. Put it where people already hang out, near the action but not in the way. A dark corner kills it.

Forgetting the overlay. It’s always the last thing on someone’s list, then it’s rushed. Send us your colors and wording early.

Where we work

NYC and New Jersey. East Rutherford,Fort Lee, Belleville, Kearny, and more on the locations page.

Our Google reviews say the same stuff over and over: on time, quick replies, easy to work with. One client booked us with barely any notice and only a rough idea, and told us the result was better than what she’d pictured. I still think about that one.
